As you are aware the first step towards reaching Australia is to get you an approval from the Board of Nursing in Australia. To get you approved as fast as possible, we have chosen to apply to the Nurses Board of Victoria. For this you need to submit certain correctly filled documents as quickly as possible.

The DOCUMENTS are as follows:

1. The Attached NBV Application form.

Kindly fill this application in pencil for verification. Once we approve it, please use a black pen to complete the form and mail to us with the rest of the documents.

 

2. A DD in the favor of Nurses Board of Victoria for $145 (Australian Dollar)

 

3. A copy of your birth certificate. The copy must be Notarized* (4 copies)

 

4. A copy of your marriage certificate. The copy must be Notarized* (4 copies)

 

5. A copy of your degree or diploma. The copy must be Notarized* (4 copies)

 

6. A copy of your transcript. The copy must be Notarized*. (4 copies)

 

7. Verification of your registration - Has to be sent directly from your Nursing council to Nurses Board of Victoria.

 

8. Work Statement / Reference - Please refer to Page 6 Section B, for the details to be included.

The Referee must mention that you have been working with the hospital as "a fulltime Registered nurse"

 

9. A copy of your IELTS result. -  The copy must be Notarized*. (4 copies)

 

10. Authorization Letter

 

11. First and last page of your passport.  - The copy must be Notarized*. (4 copies)

 

12. The All-in-One form

 

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:

 

1.* NOTARY - When a document is notarized, every page of each document must have the following statement recorded “This is a true copy of the original, which I have seen.”

The person doing the Notary must record the following

a) Signature

b) Print or stamp his/her name; and indicate the qualification for certifying e.g. Solicitor/Legal practionor, Magistrate or notary Public

c) Contact address and phone number, Registration No.

 

2. Please read page 5 & 6 of the Application Form for all instructions and list of documents.

 

3. The name on all your forms should be the same as on your passport.

 

4. No affidavits are accepted.
